A nice collaboration between Lilly Allen and Mick Jones (one of the original Clash members) on this remake of a Clash song Straight To Hell. The song is part of a compilation done for the War Child organiztion called War Child Heroes. The original artists were asked to pick one of their own songs and which artist they would like to have it performed. The list of original songs and the performers is quite impressive. More here.
Two Door Cinema Club is a band from Bangor, Northern Ireland . This is their song Do You Want It All.
Portland Cello Project is a band, surprisingly enough, from Portland, Oregon. This is their song Seeds May Fall. They recently opened for Thao and were great. Merci Nath.
Phoenix is a band from Paris, France. They gave an excellent show last night in Montreal and I thought I’d post one of my favourite songs. This is their song Long Distance Call.
